THIS N’ THAT

Now, how fun is this?  An ecclectic mix for the fun-loving person, that’s what!

ICE BOUQUET

This is way cool flowery piece, a mixture of ice and riotous color!  Briolettes of faceted opalite, white jade, clear fractured rock crystal, AB green quartz drops, and kyanite are surrounded by Czech glass translucent leaves, as well as twinned flowerets in a luscious palette of different colors.  Each flower is hand-formed by the artist using Czech glass half-rounds and tiny amethyst round beads.  Faceted opalite rondelles finish the piece, which closes with a sterling silver Bali “S”-clasp.

By Any Other Name

Would this necklace by any other name look so nice?  Well, yes, but what’s in a name?  What light through yon window breaks?  Alas, poor Yorik… for he did not have this lovely piece to bestow upon Milady fair!  Double strands of briolettes in genuine rose quartz, crackled crystal, pink candy jade, magenta chalcedony and watermelon candy jade join with green top-drilled freshwater and white coin pearls.  Dangles of pink and white pearls, and glass and pearl flowerets formed by the artist peep from Czech glass leaves, sparked with faceted drops of pink cubic zirconium.  Rondelles of soo chow jade and genuine rose quartz finish this flowery piece, which features a carved genuine rose quartz… well, rose!

Here is a bright and lively necklace that mixes silica of both man-made and natural origins!  Large nuggets of genuine, raw amethyst are flanked by dichroic art glass beads.  (Dichroic glass bears precious metals, which gives it a rich and shimmering glow; these beads bear silver foil.)  Rondelles of purple and mojave lime turquoise (permanently dyed Sleeping Beauty turquoise) join with rondelles of the natural variety, along with tiny sterling silver rounds.

It’s two – two – two necklaces in one!
