PRIMAL NEEDS

From the darkest, most deeply seeded fibers of your inner core comes the howling need to possess that which calls to you...  which is this shamanistic, one of a kind necklace!!

Here is something to stir the primitive in us all:  graduated rondelles of genuine tiger eye, large nuggets of natural Chinese turquoise, faceted nuggets of genuine moukaite and highly polished large nuggets of gemmy citrine can only highlight the focal of this fantastic piece:  three long tines of genuine deer antler!  With matching French hook earrings to complete the set, this magnificent 22-inch piece closes with a sterling silver toggle clasp.

Let it bring to you in an aura of mystery and strength, one that announces to the world that inner goddess in us all…

Naga Hills

Timeless like the Naga dragon’s eggs in the ancient Hmong myth, this piece pays tribute to the beliefs and culture of a unique people.

African trade, brass wire-mesh, carved bone and silky horn beads accent a one of a kind, HISTORICAL focal piece:  a brass-headed Naga Hill Tribe fetish doll.  These were given to the young virginal girls not only as a protection against evil, but to pronounce to the others that they are not yet wed.

Let this piece watch over you as well; 19” end to end, it closes with a gold vermeil “J”-clasp.

$185.00

Megalodon!

Well, what else would you say if you were swimming along the beach and saw a dorsal fin the size of a cow?

“MEGALODON!”

Which leads us to the focal piece of this one-of-a-kind necklace.

A magnificent blue-sheen brown moonstone sits atop a genuine chocolate colored fossil megalodon tooth.  Highlighting this utterly unique focal piece are faceted nuggets of natural smoky quartz and Botswana agate.  Here and there Hill Tribe silver brings a spark of dancing fire; a sturdy Israeli “J”-clasp is closure.

In the artist’s private collection.

In The Beginning

In the beginning there was a tooth, and The Kid said “Let there be silver.” And it was good… and you shall look even better than merely “good” with this stunning piece around your neck!  Nuggets of natural gem citrine join forces with rich smoky quartz faceted nuggets, Bali silver endcaps and Hill Tribe 99% pure silver hammered rounds to highlight a magnificent sterling amulet.  Upon this amulet, a natural bi-colored smoky quartz/citrine watches over a large black fossil megalodon tooth!  Approximately 19 inches long, it closes with an Israeli “J”-clasp.  Pendant components put together by the Kid, and created by the incomparable John Franklin.

A wearable investment… not for the meek of heart!

$400.00

Waubonsie

In the Potawatomi language it means “Little Dawn”, and around your neck it captures the spirit of the wild woods the People called home.

Flattened rounds of pure, natural carnelian and large genuine nuggets of Nevada green turquoise come together with simple sterling silver rounds and two small whitetail antler tines to highlight “Waubonsie’s” magnificent focal piece:  two fat antler cylinder beads on either side of a larger double tine, all elaborately carved with wolf and deer tracks.

In the artist’s private collection.

Surf n’ Turf

Hey, what’s on the menu?  Depends on who you ask, me or the shark!

Here is a strongly unique piece made of faceted nuggets of wonderful mahogany obsidian, black onyx rounds, smaller black onyx rondelles and Bali sterling silver daisies.  Acting as focus is a one of a kind pendant:  a magnificent oval of sterling bezel-set mahogany obsidian from which hangs a 5,000,000+ year old juvenile megalodon tooth from the renowned (and closed)  Bone Valley phosphate mines of Florida. Megalodon, you ask?  That’s the extinct (thank goodness!) shark that could swallow a bus… ok, a Volkswagon!

A full 19 inches end to end.  Pendant by John Franklin using components chosen by the Kid.  “J”-clasp closure.  Tooth measures 1.8 inches.

Planus Planitia

What does it mean, this Planus Planitia?

Many have pondered this question as they gaze upon this beauty, but the lure of this piece soon puts the question out of the mind!

For those who persist:  “Isurus planus” was an ancient ancestor of the modern day mako shark.  Its beautiful, near-2” fossil tooth now hangs upon a magnificent double strand necklace featuring nuggets, faceted drops, rounds, heishi and faceted ovals of Montana moss agate, golden coral, yellow opal, yellow jade, golden freshwater pearls, pineapple quartz, hessonite garnet and precious citrine.

For the serious shark lover, this piece measures 19-1/2” long, and closes with a heavy, high quality gold toggle clasp.

$140.00

Dop ditty ditty, dop ditty ditty, la la li lo… Good morning starshine!  Perky, ey?  Well… how can you not feel perky, when you put on this gorgeous piece made of genuine yellow opal barrels, Thai carved black terra cotta beads, sardonyx ovals, sterling silver beadcaps, daisies, spacers and beads… all ending in a fantastic starfish carved from sardonyx, tiny starfishy bumps and all!

Closing with an Israeli sterling “J”-clasp, this necklace is 19 inches, end to end… and if no one buys it will be in the artist’s private collection….
